Convocatoria para Jurado Infantil, Juvenil y Universitario del IV FICAIJ

El IV FICAIJ abre oficialmente la convocatoria para niños, adolescentes y jóvenes interesados en ser miembros del Jurado Infantil, Juvenil o Universitario de la próxima edición del Festival. El evento se realizará en Mérida, Venezuela, entre el 25 y 31 de mayo de 2014  y las inscripciones serán completamente gratuitas. 

La convocatoria está dirigida a niños entre los 7 y 12 años de edad; a adolescentes entre los 13 y 17 años; y a jóvenes a partir de 18 años. Será requisito sine qua non que los chicos menores de edad que se postulen tengan la respectiva autorización de su representante.

Official calling for Children, Young and University Jury of 4th FICAIJ

4th FICAIJ officially opens the calling for children, adolescents, who are interested in joining to FICAIJ as members of the Children Jury, Young Jury, or University Jury for next edition of the Festival. The event will take place in Mérida, Venezuela, between May 25th to 31st 2014, and the registration is completely free.

This calling is addressed to children between 7 and 12 years old, adolescents between 13 and 17 years old and young people legally aged. It is a sine qua non requirement that under age applicants have the authorization of their legal representative.

Bases de participación IV FICAIJ

IV FICAIJ (FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE Y AUDIOVISUAL INFANTIL Y JUVENIL)
MÉRIDA, VENEZUELA (2014)

BASES DE PARTICIPACIÓN:

CATEGORÍAS: 
1) Infantil.
2) Juvenil.

ESPACIOS: 
1) Hecho para niños y/o adolescentes. 
2) Hecho por niños y/o adolescentes.

(INFORMACIÓN SOBRE EL ENVÍO Y PARTICIPACIÓN EN EL FESTIVAL)

1) Las inscripciones en el Festival son gratuitas.

2) Si desea participar en FICAIJ con su producto audiovisual, deberá enviar:

2.1) A la siguiente dirección de correo direccionficaij@gmail.com

• 1 fotocopia digital de la C.I., DNI, PASAPORTE o DOCUMENTO LEGAL de la persona natural o jurídica que realiza la inscripción.
• Un par de fotogramas del o los trabajos audiovisuales participantes.
• Bio-filmografía del Director de la realización.
• Planilla de inscripción (escaneada) de la película o audiovisual en el FICAIJ. Se considerará la planilla como la autorización del (a) productor (a) o realizador (a) para la participación del audiovisual en el Festival.

2.2) El audiovisual a través de alguno de los siguientes medios:

a) Vía Internet:
El compresor del archivo audiovisual debe ser H.264, con extensión .mov o .avi, y resolución mínima de 720X480. La obra puede ser enviada por https://www.wetransfer.com/ u otro servicio gratuito en la web.

b) o vía correo tradicional:
A la dirección que aparece en la parte inferior de este documento:
•Planilla impresa de inscripción de la película o audiovisual en el FICAIJ. Se considerará la planilla impresa y firmada como la autorización del (a) productor (a) o realizador (a) para la participación del audiovisual en el Festival. 
•2 copias en DVD (multizona) de la película o audiovisual.

3) El Festival permite la inscripción de películas o audiovisuales “Hechos para niños y/o adolescentes”, así como “Hechos por niños y7o adolescentes”. A ambos casos les llamamos “Espacios” del Festival. Se debe hacer la respectiva acotación en la Planilla de Inscripción. Pueden participar cortometrajes y largometrajes de los géneros ficción y animación, así como, documentales y series de televisión.

4) No importa si usted es menor de edad, y desea inscribir su trabajo. En este caso, sólo debe anexar la autorización o permiso del padre, madre o representante de acuerdo con las políticas que se aplican en su respectivo país, o las leyes internacionales en materia del menor y/o adolescente.

5) Las obras que se reciban para la competencia, en los distintos reglones, serán sometidas a un proceso de preselección con un jurado calificador que será definido por la organización.

6) No se hará restricción alguna por el idioma o lengua de la película o el audiovisual. De estar en un idioma distinto al español, el realizador deberá enviar las copias con subtítulos en inglés o en su defecto con la traducción de los diálogos a ese idioma. Esto último puede ser enviado en un documento vía correo electrónico y con la indicación del minuto y segundo de la película en que se encuentra e inicia cada diálogo. Este requisito es para el respectivo subtitulado o doblaje al español del filme hecho como acompañamiento en plena proyección.

7) Es importante señalar que los gastos de envíos corren por su propia cuenta y que usted no tendrá límite de audiovisuales que pueda inscribir en el Festival.

8) La fecha límite para la recepción de audiovisuales será el día viernes 31 de enero de 2014.

9) Entrarán en competencia todas aquellas obras realizadas entre 2012 y 2014. Las obras pertenecientes a años anteriores podrían ser igualmente enviadas e inscritas pero entrarían exclusivamente en la sección retrospectiva del Festival.

10) El jurado calificador estará dividido en cuatro clases:
a) Jurado Infantil.
b) Jurado Juvenil.
c) Jurado Universitario.
d) Jurado Adulto.

11) El jurado infantil declarará como ganadores a los cortometrajes que cumplan con los criterios internos establecidos, considerando la distinción para los "espacios". Los premios otorgados serán:

•Mejor Animación Infantil.
•Mejor Ficción Infantil.
•Mención Especial: Mejor realización hecha por niños y/o adolescentes.

12) El jurado juvenil declarará como ganadores a los cortometrajes que cumplan con los criterios internos establecidos, considerando la distinción para los "espacios". Los premios otorgados serán:

•Mejor Animación Juvenil.
•Mejor Ficción Juvenil.
•Mención Especial: Mejor realización hecha por niños y/o adolescentes.

13) El jurado universitario declarará como ganadores a los cortometrajes que cumplan con los criterios internos establecidos. Los premios otorgados serán:

•Mejor Documental.
•Mejor Serie de TV.

14) El jurado adulto declarará como ganadores a los cortometrajes que cumplan con los criterios internos establecidos; considerando la distinción para los "espacios". En consecuencia, los premios otorgados serán:

Espacio Hecho para niños y/o adolescentes:
• Mejor Animación Infantil.
• Mejor Ficción Infantil.
• Mejor Animación Juvenil.
• Mejor Ficción Juvenil.

Espacio Hecho por niños y/o adolescentes:
•Mención Especial: Mejor realización hecha por niños y/o adolescentes.

15) El jurado adulto otorgará la distinción especial a:
•Mejor Largometraje. 

16) En caso de que exista una única o ninguna película o audiovisual inscrito en alguno de los espacios, categorías o distinciones especiales, el Festival podrá declarar desierto dicho reglón, sin que eso signifique que ese único no pueda ser proyectado en el marco del Festival u otras muestras.

17) No existirán premios compartidos en ninguna de las categorías, espacios o distinciones especiales. El jurado no podrá declarar desierto alguno de los premios. La decisión de los distintos jurados será inapelable. Sólo el Jurado Adulto podrá hacer alguna o algunas menciones especiales u honoríficas.

18) La persona natural o jurídica que realiza la inscripción de los audiovisuales que obtengan premios se compromete a mencionarlos en toda la publicidad y material de prensa, utilizando el logotipo del Festival y especificando el premio obtenido.

19) El material enviado al Festival no será devuelto por la organización.

20) La inscripción en el Festival implica que usted ha aceptado cada una de las disposiciones contenidas en los numerales de estas Bases.

21) Puede exponer cualquier duda que tenga preferiblemente antes de la fecha de cierre de recepción de películas o audiovisuales.

22) FICAIJ, considerando la importancia de la promoción y difusión del Cine y el Audiovisual diverso, incluirá el material audiovisual seleccionado en su videoteca escolar. Ello con el fin de presentarlo en diversas muestras, en Instituciones Educativas y otras comunidades, a nivel regional, nacional e internacional.

23) Cualquier hecho que no esté previsto en estas Bases será resuelto a criterio de la Asociación Civil Grupo de Artes Escénicas y Audiovisuales Expresión Ixoye.

1. Festival registration is free.
2. If you want to participate with an audiovisual material, you should send:

- 1 digital copy of ID card, Passport or legal documentation of each natural or legal person who registers.

- Some frames of the audiovisual work.

- Bio-filmography of the audiovisual material’s Director.

- Registration form (scanned) of the flim or audiovisual in FICAIJ. This document will be considered as a producer/director’s authorization for its participation in the Festival.

§ Send the audiovisual through any of the following means:

- Via Internet:

Files must use H.264 video codec with .mov or .avi file extension. Minimum resolution required: 720x480. Audiovisual could be sent through https://www.wetransfer.com/ or any other free service.

- Via Postal mail service:

To the address at the bottom of this document:

· Printed Registration Form: this printed and signed document will be considered as an authorization for its participation in the Festival.

· Send us your audiovisual material, 2 copies on DVD, region free.

3) This Festival allows registration of films and audiovisuals “Made for children and/or young people”, as well as “Made by children and/or young people”, In both cases we call them “spaces” of the Festival. If so, a note should be made in the Registration Form. They can participate: short films and full-length films, fiction and animation genres, including documentary and television series.

4) If you are under 18 and want to register your material, you just have to attach a parental authorization letter in accordance with your country’s policies or international laws in this matter.

5) All works received will be submitted to a screening process by a jury defined by the organization.

6) There will be no language restrictions. If audiovisual is not in Spanish, the producer should include English subtitles or English dialogue translations. This could be sent by email indicating minutes and seconds when subtitles should appear on the screen. This will be used during the projection.

7) It is important to mention that shipping costs are under sender’s responsibility and there are no limitations on registering audiovisuals for the Festival.

8) The deadline for reception of registrations and material is Friday, January 31th 2014.

9) All audiovisuals produced between 2012 and 2014 will be competing at this Festival. Previous year’s works will be received and registered but used in a retrospective section of the Festival.

10) Jury will be divided in four classes:

a) Children’s Jury

b) Youth Jury

c) University Jury

d) Adult Jury

11) Children’s Jury will declare as winners those works that fulfill established criteria, considering “space” distinctions. Prizes will be:

- Best Children’s Animation

- Best Children’s Fiction

- Special mention category: Best Children and/or Young People’s Production.

12) Youth Jury will declare as winners those works that fulfill established criteria, considering “space” distinctions. Prizes will be:

- Best Youth Animation

- Best Youth Fiction

- Special mention category: Best Children and/or Young People’s Production.

13) University Jury will declare as winners those works that fulfill established criteria, considering “space” distinctions. Prizes will be:

- Best Documentary

- Best Television Series

14) Adult Jury will declare as winners those works that fulfill established criteria, considering “space” distinctions. Therefore, prizes will be:

Space Made for Children and/or Young People:

- Best Children’s Animation

- Best Children’s Fiction

- Best Youth Animation

- Best Youth Fiction

Space Made by Children and/or Young People:

- Special mention category: Best Children and/or Young People’s Production.

15) Adult Jury will award a Special Distinction to:

- Best full-length film

16) If there is one or no films or audiovisual materials registered in one of the Spaces, Categories or Special Distinctions, the Organization could declare as abandoned that order. This does not mean that this unique audiovisual could not be used during the Festival or any other exhibition.

17) There will be no shared prizes in any Spaces, Categories or Special Distinctions. Jury cannot declare as abandoned any of the prizes. Jury’s decision will be unappealable. Only Adult Jury can award Special Distinctions and Honorable Mentions.

18) All natural and legal person registered at the Festival receiving awards commits to mention them in all publicity and press material using the official logo of the Festival and specifying the prize.

19) The material sent to the Festival will not be returned by the Organization.

20) Registration at the Festival implies that you have accepted each of all the provisions contained in these Bases for Participation.

21) You can expose any question before the reception and registration deadline.

22) FICAIJ, considering the importance of the promotion and diffusion of Cinema and diverse Audiovisual, will include all selected audiovisual material in their Scholar Film Library. In this way, it will be presented in some exhibitions, Educational Institutions and other communities, at regional, national and international level.

23) Any other fact not included in these bases will be solved at the discretion of the Asociación Civil Grupo de Artes Escénicas y Audiovisuales Expresión Ixoye.

3) Le festival permette l’inscription du film ou de l’audiovisuel « fait pour les enfants ou les adolescents » ainsi que « fait par les enfants ou les adolescents ». Pour les deux cas nous, les appelons « Place des films » du festival. Il faut ajouter le respectif formulaire d’inscription. Peuvent participer dans le festival les court-métrages et les long-métrages des genres de la fiction et de l’animation, tel que, les documentaires et les séries télévisées.

4) N’importe pas si vous êtes mineur, et voulez d’inscrire votre travail. Dans ce cas, vous devez d’ajouter l’autorisation des parents (la mère, le père ou le représentant légal) D’accord avec les politiques qui s’appliquent dans votre pays, ou les lois internationales en matière des mineurs et adolescents.

5) Les œuvres lesquelles nous recevrons pour la compétence, dans les différentes lignes, se seront soumises dans un processus d’avant sélectionné avec un juré qualificateur qui sera défini pour l’organisation

6) Nous ne ferons aucune restriction par rapport à la langue originale du film o de l’audiovisuel, mais, il est nécessaire d’envoyer une copie avec des sous-titres en anglais, sinon la traduction des dialogues dans l’anglais aussi, ce dernier peut être envoyé par courrier électronique avec l’indication du minute et de la seconde du film où se trouvent les dialogues. Cette condition est seulement pour faire les sous-titres ou le doublage à l’espagnol du film dans le moment de la projection.

7) Il est important d’indiquer que les dépenses d’envoi seront financières pour vous-même, et il n’y aura pas des limites d’inscription d’audiovisuels dans le festival.

8) La date limite de la réception des audiovisuels sera le vendredi 31 janvier du 2014

9) Nous recevrons les œuvres des années 2012-2014, les œuvres des années avant peut-être envoyés, mais elles seront seulement considérées dans la section rétrospective du festival.

10) Le juré qualificateur sera divisé en quatre catégories :

b) Juré Juvénile
c) Juré Universitaire

14) Le juré adulte déclarera comme gagnants les court-métrages qui accompliront les critères internes établit, en considérant la distinction pour les « places du film ». les prix attribués seront :

Place du film fait pour les enfants et les adolescents :

· La meilleure animation infantile
· La meilleure fiction infantile
· La meilleure animation juvénile
· La meilleure fiction juvénile

Place du film fait par les enfants et les adolescents :

· Mention spécial : La meilleure réalisation fait par les enfants et les adolescents

15) Le juré adulte attribué la distinction spécial à :

· Le meilleur long-métrage


16) En cas de qu’il n’existe aucun film, ou qu’il ait un seule film ou audiovisuel inscrit dans quelque place du film. Le festival pourra déclarer la ligne déserte, mais ça, ne veut pas signifie que le film ne seront pas projeté  dans le festival.

17)  Il n’y aurait pas des prix partagés dans aucune catégories, Le juré ne pourra pas déclarer désert quelque prix. La décision des différents jurés sera sans appel. Seulement le juré adulte pourra faire quelque mention spéciale ou honorifique.  

18)  Le personne naturel ou juridique qui va à faire l’inscription des audiovisuels et qu’gagne quelque prix s’engage à être mentionné dans toute la publicité et matériel du presse en utilisant le logotype du festival et en spécifiant le prix obtenu.

19)  Le matériel envoyé au festival ne sera pas retourné pour l’organisation.

20)              L’inscription dans le festival implique que vous êtes d’accord avec chacune des disposées contenues en ce document-ci.

21)  Vous pouvez demander quelque chose, si vous avez de  doutes. Préférablement avant la date de fermer la réception du film ou de l’audiovisuel.

22) FICAIJ, considère l’importance de la promotion et de la diffusion du film et de l’audiovisuel divers. Le matériel qui va à faire sélectionner sera inclus dans la vidéothèque scolaire, avec le propos de le montrer dans les différents espaces dans les institutions éducatives, les communautés, au niveau régional, national et international.  

23) Le fait qui n’apparaît pas dans ce document, sera discuter pour l’association civil groupe des arts scénique et audiovisuels « Expresión IXOYE ».

Jornada FICAIJ en 1era. Muestra Audiovisual de Barinas Jesús Enrique Guédez

Como parte de la programación de la 1era. Muestra Audiovisual de Barinas Jesús Enrique Guédez, se realiza en la comunidad 1ero. de diciembre, en la Ciudad de Barinas, Venezuela, una jornada FICAIJ de realización y producción cinematográfica dirigida a niños y adolescentes. 

La Muestra se realiza con el apoyo del Gabinete de Cultura del Estado Barinas, la UPAC (Unidad de Producción Audiovisual Comunitaria) 1ero. de diciembre y el CNAC (Centro Nacional Autónomo de Cinematografía) La jornada se viene desarrollando desde el 10 de diciembre del año en curso en horas de la mañana. Los chicos iniciarán mañana el rodaje de sus propios cortometrajes, titulados "Por una pelota" y "El trompo y la flor".

FICAIJ Session in 1st Audiovisual Exhibition of Barinas, Jesús Enrique Guédez

We will have a FICAIJ Session of Cinematographic Direction and Production addressed to children and young people, as an activity of the programme of the 1st Muestra Audiovisual de Barinas Jesús Enrique Guédez (Audiovisual Exhibition of Barinas.) This activity is taking place in the community “1ero. de diciembre”, Barinas, Venezuela. 


The Exhibition is supported by “Gabinete de Cultura del Estado Barinas”, UPAC (Unidad de Producción Audiovisual Comunitaria) 1ero. de diciembre and CNAC (Centro Nacional Autónomo de Cinematografía).  The session is taking place since December 10th during the morning. Tomorrow, the participants will start the filming of their own short films, called "Por una pelota" and "El trompo y la flor".

2013-2014

Luego del rotundo éxito que representó a nivel regional, nacional e internacional la tercera edición del FICAIJ, la Asociación Civil Grupo de Artes Escénicas y Audiovisuales Expresión Ixoye se complace en abrir la convocatoria oficial dirigida a la comunidad en general interesada en participar en el IV FICAIJ que se celebrará en Mérida y Caracas, Venezuela, entre el 25 y 31 de mayo de 2014.


Estamos actualmente en la fase de recepción e inscripción de audiovisuales que deseen participar en el marco del IV FICAIJ. También recibiremos postulaciones de aquellos niños, adolescentes y jóvenes interesados en ser miembros del grupo de jurados del FICAIJ. After FICAIJ’s third edition success obtained at regional, national and international level, the Asociación Civil Grupo de Artes Escénicas y Audiovisuales Expresión IXOYE in pleased to open the official announcement addressed to all people interested in FICAIJ’s Fourth Edition activities that will be held in Mérida and Caracas, Venezuela, between 25 and 31 May, 2014.

We are currently receiving and registering materials wishing to participate in FICAIJ’s fourth edition. We are also receiving applications for those children, teenagers and young people interested in becoming members of FICAIJ’s Jury. The announcement will be opened between December 7th 2013 and January 31th 2014.

Après le total succès qui a présenté  au niveau régional, national et international la troisième édition du FICAIJ, l’Association civil groupe des Arts scéniques et audiovisuels « Expresión Ixoye » On se plaît en ouvrir la convocation officielle dirigé à la communauté en général intéressé de participer dans le IVème FICAIJ lequel se célébrera à Mérida et à Caracas,  Venezuela, entre le 25 et le 31 mai du 2014.

Actuellement nous sommes dans l’étape de la réception et l’inscription de textes audiovisuels qui veulent participer dans le cadre du IVème FICAIJ. Nous recevons aussi les postulations des enfants, adolescents et jeunes qui sont intéressés d’être membres du groupe de jurés du FICAIJ. La convocation sera ouverte  entre le 7 décembre du 2013 et le 31 janvier du 2014.

FICAIJ en 3ra. Muestra de Cine y Video Comunitario de Portuguesa

En Guanare y Acarigua se realiza la 3ra. Muestra de Cine y Video Comunitario de Portuguesa; gracias al apoyo del Gabinete Cultural del Estado Portuguesa, y del CNAC (Centro Nacional Autónomo de Cinematografía), ente adscrito a la Plataforma del Cine y el Audiovisual de Venezuela. 


En esta oportunidad el FICAIJ se trasladó a Guanare para acompañar la Muestra y contribuir con la formación cinematográfica a través de jornadas especiales de realización y producción audiovisual, respondiendo al programa IV FICAIJ va a niños y jóvenes.


Estaremos en la Escuela Técnica Agropecuaria Óscar Villanueva, ubicada en el sector La Colonia, entre el martes 26 y viernes 29 de noviembre, de 9am a 12m. También en la Casa Cultural "La Nueva Casika", en el centro de Guanare, los mismos días, entre las 3pm y 6pm. En esta oportunidad se producirán en las jornadas 3 audiovisuales cortos.

FICAIJ in 3rd Exhibition of Film and Communitary Video of Portuguesa

In Guanare and Acarigua, Venezuela, it is taking place the 3rd Muestra de Cine y Video Comunitario de Portuguesa (Exhibition of Film and Communitary Video of Portuguesa,) thanks to Gabinete Cultural del Estado Portuguesa, and CNAC (Centro Nacional Autónomo de Cinematografía), institution affiliated to Plataforma del Cine y el Audiovisual de Venezuela (Platform of Film and Audiovisual of Venezuela.) 

In this opportunity, FICAIJ went to Guanare to present an exhibition and contribute with cinematographic training through the realization of special sessions of audiovisual production and direction, related to the program “4rd FICAIJ goes to children and young people.”

We will be in Escuela Técnica Agropecuaria Óscar Villanueva, located in La Colonia, between Tuesday, November 26th, and Friday, November 29th, from 9am to 12m. Moreover, in Casa Cultural "La Nueva Casika", Guanare downtown, we will be the same days, from 3pm to 6pm. In this opportunity we will produced 3 short films during the sessions.

Jornada FICAIJ en San Juan de Lagunillas, Estado Mérida

Con la participación de 20 estudiantes de 4to, 5to y 6to grado de la Escuela Bolivariana Estado Portuguesa, ubicada en San Juan de Lagunillas, Estado Mérida, Venezuela, se realizó esta semana una jornada de realización y producción cinematográfica del programa IV FICAIJ va a niños y jóvenes.


El grupo se dividió en dos sub-grupos para escribir los guiones de las historias que se grabarían entre la tercera y cuarta sesión de la jornada. Para la actividad se contó entre otros con la participación y el apoyo de la Prof. Nathaly Uzcátegui, especialista cultural de la Institución.


La jornada se llevó a cabo entre el martes 19 al viernes 22 de noviembre del año en curso, entre las 9am y 12m, y en ella se produjeron dos cortometrajes de ficción realizados por los mismos chicos. Por nuestra parte queremos agradecer el apoyo brindado por la Institución y demás colaboradores, así como la participación de los niños. ¡Gracias!

FICAIJ Session in San Juan de Lagunillas, Mérida

In the program “4th FICAIJ goes to children and young people,” we had a FICAIJ Session of cinematographic production and direction in Escuela Bolivariana Estado Portuguesa, located in San Juan de Lagunillas, Mérida. We had the attendance of 20 students of 4th, 5th and 6th grade during a week.

The group was divided into two sub-groups to write the screenplays that they will film in the third and fourth day of the session. We had the participation and support of Prof. Nathaly Uzcátegui, specialist of culture of the institution.


The session took place between Tuesday, November 19th, and Friday, November 22nd, from 9am to 12m. We produced two short films made by the children. We want to thank the support of the institution and people from there, as well as the children. Thank you!

Jornada FICAIJ en Barquisimeto

Ayer martes 12 de noviembre de 2013 inició jornada FICAIJ en la Escuela Bolivariana Media Jornada José Gregorio Hernández, ubicada en la Ciudad de Barquisimeto, Estado Lara. La jornada se está realizando en el marco de la celebración del 9no Festival Nacional de Cortometrajes de Barquisimeto y cuenta esta vez con la participación de 32 estudiantes del tercer grado de la Escuela ya mencionada.

Yesterday, Tuesday, November 12th 2013, we had a FICAIJ Session in Escuela Bolivariana Media Jornada José Gregorio Hernández, located in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara state, Venezuela. The session is an activity organized in the context of the celebration of 9th Festival Nacional de Cortometrajes de Barquisimeto (National Festival of Short Films). We had the attendance of 32 students of 3rd grade from that school.

Cierre de Jornada IV FICAIJ en Ciudad Bolívar

Acompañados por sus padres, representantes y amigos, los niños y adolescentes participantes de nuestra jornada, finalizaron con la presentación de obras teatrales. 


Luego de una semana de encuentros, de cine, historias, producción y museo, nos dedicamos a preparar los últimos ejercicios con los chicos. 


En esta ocasión, los participantes proponían sus propias historias, se organizaban según ellos mismos considerasen en directores, productores o actores de su montaje teatral. 
Cuatro fueron las obras presentadas.


A la vez que cerrábamos la jornada con estas presentaciones los chicos pudieron visualizar  el resultado audiovisual de esta larga pero divertida semana de trabajo. Tres cortometrajes fueron producidos en las instalaciones del Museo de Arte Moderno Jesús Soto, en Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela.



Al evento asistieron además el Lic. Acosta Guerra, director del Museo, y José Barceló, coordinador encargado de la Jornada FICAIJ por parte de Cinema Soto. Ambos felicitaron la iniciativa, así como las actividades realizadas, e invitaron a los chicos y a sus representantes a seguir visitando el Museo.


Aprovechamos por otra parte la oportunidad para presentar los cortometrajes producidos en la jornada del FICAIJ en noviembre de 2012, también en Ciudad Bolívar, entregar certificados y premios.

Closing of 4th FICAIJ Session in Ciudad Bolívar

Children and adolescents of the session, together with their parents and friends, finish the activity with the presentation of the plays.

After a week of meetings, cinema, stories and productions in the museum, we prepared the last activities with the group.

In this opportunity, the participants proposed their own stories and organized the group sharing out the roles: directors, producers or actors. They presented 4 plays.

At the same time, they were able to appreciate the audiovisual result of this long but fun week of work. Three short films were produced in the Modern Art Museum Jesús Soto, in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela.

Some of the special guests were Lic.Acosta Guerra, director of the Museum, and José Barceló, coordinator of the FICAIJ Session as a member of Cinema Soto. Both were very pleased with the initiative and the activities developed, and they encouraged the children to continue visiting the museum.

We also had the opportunity to present the short films produced in the FICAIJ Session in November 2012, in Ciudad Bolívar, and we gave the certificates and awards.

IV FICAIJ en Ciudad Bolívar

En el marco del 40 aniversario del Museo de Arte Jesús Soto, y 8 años de Cinema Soto, en Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, el IV FICAIJ se trasladó a las instalaciones del Museo para iniciar una jornada de realización y producción cinematográfica dirigida a niños y adolescentes. 


La jornada se realizará entre hoy 1 y el próximo jueves 03 de octubre de 2013, en horas de la tarde, y atenderá un grupo de 32 niños y adolescentes de la Ciudad.

Galardonados “Viviendo en la calle” y “Buscando a Bolívar”
Premian producciones de niños y jóvenes del casco histórico.
La III edición del Festival Internacional de Cine y Audiovisual Infantil y Juvenil FICAIJ, con sede en Mérida y Caracas, se trasladó a Ciudad Bolívar para entregar y celebrar los premios obtenidos por niños, niñas y jóvenes del Casco Histórico, galardonados en FICAIJ-2013.
Para conmemorar tan importante triunfo cinematográfico, la Gobernación del estado Bolívar, a través del Museo de Arte Moderno Jesús Soto, en alianza con el Grupo de Artes Escénicas y Audiovisuales “Expresión Ixoye” y el comité organizador del Ficaij-2013, realizaron la “Jornada de Cine y Teatro Infantil y Juvenil”.
La actividad incluyó talleres y muestras de producciones audiovisuales y teatro. Durante una semana niños, niñas y jóvenes pertenecientes a la Fundación Mi Casita Azul, la Brigada Patrimonial del Museo Jesús Soto y niños habitantes del Casco Histórico, recibieron formación técnica sobre el séptimo arte y las artes escénicas.
El cortometraje “Viviendo en la Calle” dirigido por niños del Casco Histórico recibió el premio en la categoría “Hecho por niños en FICAIJ”, y “Buscando a Bolívar”  dirigido por estudiantes del IUTEB, se alzó en la categoría “Hecho por jóvenes en FICAIJ”, ambos otorgados por el Jurado Adulto de esa organización internacional.
María Acosta de 12 años, habitante del Casco Histórico, estudiante del primer año en la Unidad Educativa “Blaise Pascal”,  dirigió el cortometraje “Viviendo en la calle”.
Expresó su satisfacción al recibir el premio y agradeció todo el conocimiento adquirido en los talleres del 2012 y 2013.
“Me siento muy feliz y agradecida por este premio que me estimula a continuar aprendiendo y haciendo cortometrajes”.
Nathaly Moreno de 10 años, estudia sexto grado en la Unidad Educativa Nacional “Zea” y habitante del Casco Histórico, forma parte del grupo de los pequeños cineastas premiados.
“Disfruté mucho de los talleres y la grabación del documental premiado, no me lo esperaba y me gustaría continuar esta carrera cultural, ayudando a que otros niños, niñas y jóvenes de bajos recursos puedan participar”, dijo.
Rafael Moreno, padre de Gabriel Moreno y Nathaly Moreno estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa “Zea” del Casco Histórico, ambos  productores del cortometraje “Viviendo en la calle” – dijo: “nuevamente quedó demostrado que de los niños y jóvenes también se aprende, reconozco el trabajo emprendido por el  Museo Jesús Soto que le da espacio a todos los que desean desarrollarse en el quehacer cultural, ya que a través de este tipo de iniciativas se contribuye con el crecimiento del país”.
Maira Requena, actriz, vocera del Consejo Comunal “Generalísimo Sebastián Francisco de Miranda” del Casco Histórico y madre de María Acosta (12) y Rosaura Acosta (08)- Directora y productora de “Viviendo en la calle”-  manifestó su orgullo por el apoyo brindado a todos los niños y niñas por parte del Museo de Arte Moderno Jesús Soto  para realizar los talleres.
Aseguró, que las líneas de acción y vinculación comunitaria que desarrolla el Museo Jesús Soto ofrecen la posibilidad de integrar a la juventud del estado en actividades culturales y educativas de manera accesible, libre e incluyente. Requena explica: “Estudié actuación durante dos años en Caracas y no pude continuar por falta de recursos, estoy totalmente agradecida de que mis hijas y los hijos de mis vecinos del Casco Histórico de Ciudad cuenten con esta oportunidad única de aprender sin salir del estado y sobre todo que se hayan ganado un premio tan importante en tan corto tiempo”.

Talleres de Cine y Teatro
Los participantes de los talleres de Producción Audiovisual y Teatro, trabajaron en la elaboración de tres cortometrajes que competirán en el FICAIJ 2014, titulados: “Aventura en el Museo”, “Cuidemos el medio ambiente” y “La niña en busca de aventuras”, además de la puesta en escena de cuatro obras de teatro realizadas en colectivo: “Los amigos”, “Las estrategias”, “La niña que jugaba en el parque” y “En busca de la harina perdida”, en absoluta sintonía con los objetivos planteados por el Movimiento Infantil y Juvenil de Teatro César Rengifo.
Invitación
El Museo de Arte Moderno Jesús Soto, a través de Cinemasoto, en articulación con el Consejo Comunal Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda y la Sala de Batalla Alejandro Vargas, del sector Casco Histórico, llevarán a esta comunidad el estreno de los documentales  “Viviendo en la calle” y “Buscando a Bolívar” como homenaje a los niños y niñas que realizaron las producciones. En la agenda del Museo de Arte Moderno Jesús Soto destaca un espacio dedicado a la formación de niños, niñas, jóvenes y adultos en las áreas de Cine y Artes Escénicas.

4rd FICAIJ in Ciudad Bolivar

In the context of the 40th aniversary of Art Museum Jesús Soto, and 8th aniversary of Cinema Soto, in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, the 4th FICAIJ was present in the Museum to offer a session of cinematographic direction and production addressed to children and young people.  

The session will take place between today, October 1st, and next Thursday, October 3rd 2013, in the afternoon. It will be 32 children and adolescent from this city.

Some productions made by children and young people are rewarded in the Historic Centre.

The 3rd edition of International Film and Audiovisual Festival for Children and Youth FICAIJ, with venues in Mérida and Caracas, was present in Ciudad Bolivar to celebrate the awards received by children from the Historic Centre, rewarded in FICAIJ 2013.  

In order to commemorate this important cinematographic achievement, the Government of Bolívar state, together with Modern Art Museum Jesús Soto, the Grupo de Artes Escénicas y Audiovisuales (Group of Audiovisual and Dramatic Arts) “Expresión Ixoye” and the organizer committee of FICAIJ 2013, offered the “Cinema and Theatre Session for Children and Youth”.

The activity had workshops and audiovisual and exhibitions of dramatic and audiovisual productions. During a week, children and young people from Fundación Mi Casita Azul, Brigada Patrimonial del Museo Jesús Soto and children from Historic Centre, received technical training in the matter.
The short film called “Viviendo en la Calle”, directed by the children from Historic Centre, received the award in the category “Fiction made by children in FICAIJ”, and the short film “Buscando a Bolívar”, directed by students from IUTEB, won in the catgory “Fiction made by youth in FICAIJ”. Both awards were given by the Adult Jury of this International Festival.
María Acosta, 12 years old, living in Historic Centre, student of first grade in Unidad Educativa “Blaise Pascal”, was the director of the short film “Viviendo en la calle”.
She was very pleased to receive her award and thanked for all the experience and knowledge obtained during the workshops in 2012 and 2013. “I feel very happy and blessed for this award that encourages me to keep learning and doing short films.”
Nathaly Moreno, 10 years old, student of 6th grade in Unidad Educativa Nacional “Zea” and living in Historic Centre, is one the little movie makers that were rewarded. “I enjoyed very much the workshops and the filming of the awarded documentary. I did not expected it but I will love to continue in this cultural path, helping and encouraging other poor children to participate” she said.
Rafael Moreno, father of Gabriel Moreno and Nathaly Moreno, students of Unidad Educativa “Zea” from Historic Centre, producers of the short film “Viviendo en la calle” – said: “Once again we can see that children and young people can teach us. I acknowledge the work of Jesus Soto Museum for encouraging the cultural exchange, because with this kind of initiatives they contribute to have a better country.”
Maira Requena, actress, spokesperson of Consejo Comunal “Generalísimo Sebastián Francisco de Miranda” from Historic Centre and mother of de María Acosta (12) and Rosaura Acosta (08)- Director and producer of “Viviendo en la calle”-  showed her pride for the support given to all children in the Modern Art Museum Jesús Soto to do the workshops.
She said that the initiatives of Jesús Soto Museum offer the opportunity to integrate the young people in cultural and educational activities in a free, accessible and inclusive way. Requena explains: “I studied drama during 2 years in Caracas and could not afford my studies until the end. I am completely grateful that my girls and my neighbors’ children be able to have this unique opportunity to learn without leaving the city and to receive an award in short time.”

Cinema and drama workshops
The participants of the Theatre and Audiovisual Production workshop worked in the making of three short film that will compete in FICAIJ 2014, titled: “Aventura en el Museo”, “Cuidemos el medio ambiente” and “La niña en busca de aventuras.” Moreover, they also presented four plays called: “Los amigos”, “Las estrategias”, “La niña que jugaba en el parque” and “En busca de la harina perdida”, in agreement with the objectives established by Movimiento Infantil y Juvenil de Teatro César Rengifo.
